Hi. Welcome. If you are a man struggling with pornography, dating sites, or other sexual behaviors that feel out of your control, I understand, because I have been there and have been in recovery for three years. I am a certified sex addiction therapist candidate, and I see men virtually for exactly these concerns, including pornography, dating sites, excessive masturbation, cheating, anonymous sex, and seeing sex workers.

I also know depression, anxiety, and addiction to alcohol and drugs from the inside. I have 29 years of recovery, and I could not have done it without the help of those who would listen. 

I see individual adults for therapy.
My specializations include addiction, dual diagnosis, anxiety, depression, isolation, mood disorders, self-esteem, adjustment disorders, life transitions, coping mechanisms, codependency, stress, grief, military/veteran support, multicultural/diversity issues, trauma, anger management, and spiritual, faith, and religion issues.

I also help those with family relationships, intimate/romantic relationships, medical issues/physical health, sleep disorders, suicidal ideation and/or 
self-harming,  ADHD, bipolar disorder, caregiver burnout, autism spectrum support, eating disorder support, and LGBTQIA+ support. 

My practice is person centered, which means you set the direction and I bring the tools. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you notice the thoughts and patterns that keep you stuck, Solution Focused Brief Therapy to build on what is already working in your life, and a strength-based lens so we spend as much time on what is right with you as on what is hard. For men working on problematic sexual behavior, I bring my training as a certified sex addiction therapist candidate and my own recovery. I am willing to walk with you hand-in-hand to give you the tools to have and keep a life that is fulfilling.

In our first session, you will not have to perform or have it all figured out. We will talk about what brought you here, what you want to be different, and what has and has not worked before, and I will answer any questions you have about how this works. Nothing you say will shock me; I have heard it, and I have lived some of it myself. You will leave with a clear sense of where we are headed and one or two things to try before we meet again. The value of a life lived fully is priceless!  I look forward to walking that road with you!
